Widner Attila
Managing Director
Attila is the driving force behind the professional and engineering work of the company, in addition to day-to-day management, he also manages engineering projects. He has several years of experience as a race engineer in international series such as TCR, ETCR, and A2RL.
This approach, trained in motorsport, is not only valuable on the race track but also in restoration: he brings efficient processes, precise execution and a real systems thinking to every project.
Németh Csaba
Restorer Project Leader
Csaba oversees vintage car restoration and service projects as a project manager. Not only does she have extensive knowledge of classic cars, but he also has in-depth practical experience in the restoration and assembly of internal combustion engines.
In addition to his background as a mechanic, he also has a background in engineering and research - including testing of internal combustion engines on engine dyno. This dual experience makes him ideal for projects where modernisation and thorough engineering go hand in hand.
Farkas Máté
Restorer
Máté is the youngest member of our team, but his enthusiasm and professional dedication go far beyond his age. Like Attila and Csaba, he holds a degree in automotive engineering, but he has found his true passion in hands-on craftsmanship—especially when it comes to classic cars.
As a vehicle restorer, he carries out a significant share of the restoration work. He is also our automotive air-conditioning specialist, responsible for oldtimer and youngtimer A/C repair and modernisation projects. When it comes to electrical systems, he is always ready to take on the challenge.
Kurgyis Gábor
Restorer
Gábor is the most experienced member of our team. Although officially retired, he has never been able to leave behind his passion for classic cars and restoration. He approaches every task with remarkable energy, dedication, and a work ethic that would put many younger professionals to shame.
Throughout his career, he has worked in several restoration workshops and contributed to the restoration of numerous outstanding classic vehicles. His name is associated with many beautifully completed projects, and he brings decades of practical knowledge to the Widi Automotive team.
His favourite areas of work are engine repair and bodywork, where his experience, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are especially valuable. After many years in the profession, he has now found a team at Widi Automotive where he can continue doing what he loves most.
Widner Attila Antal
Restoration consultant
Attila brings with him nearly 40 years of experience in the world of car servicing. He has refurbished countless vehicles - his own workshop has been running for many years and can be seen as a forerunner of Widi Automotive.
For nearly two decades, he not only built but also raced custom off-road cars, so his practical knowledge and creative solutions are still a valuable asset to us today, especially for restoration and restomod projects.
He is currently supporting the team as a consultant, providing a solid background and steady professional support.
